Safe Harbor Skull Creek, located on the north end of Hilton Head Island, SC, was recently recertified as a South Carolina Clean Marina. The marina is directly on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and has a capacity for 240 boats with a maximum length of approximately 130 feet.
When asked about the importance of healthy water quality, Skull Creek Marina’s General Manager, Marc Bellantone says, “Healthy water quality is important to our marina and the Lowcountry. Our members and guests enjoy watching the active marine life in the Hilton Head Island waters and we also have lots of fishing activity made possible by our area’s clean waters.”
Since Safe Harbor purchased Skull Creek Marina in 2019, management and staff have a shared passion for protecting the environment for future generations to come. “We pride ourselves in being environmentally conscious and doing our part in maintaining a healthy marine ecosystem in the Lowcountry,” says Bellantone.
