Situated on Hilton Head Island’s Calibogue Sound, the Harbour Town Yacht Basin is recognized as a premier yachting destination on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Recently, the marina was recertified as a South Carolina Clean Marina for their long-standing commitment to water quality protection and improvement.
For 53 years, the iconic red- and white-striped Harbour Town Lighthouse has welcomed visitors and yachters to the beautiful Harbour Town Yacht Basin. Constructed in 1969 and located in the heart of Sea Pines Resort, this circular, full-service marina offers 100 floating slips and receives boaters year-round.
Harbour Town Yacht Basin has been involved with the South Carolina Clean Marina Program since its inception. “We believe it is our duty to maintain and protect the waters of the state and the Clean Marina program outlines the practices needed to do just that,” says General Manager Leslie Whitener.
